The 5th Annual 2013 Undergraduate Research & Scholarship Symposium (URSS) took place April 10, 2013 at Duquesne University's Power Center Ballroom. With 106 abstract submissions and over 160 student participants, we were very excited to see the growth and diversity of topics presented at the symposium. The School of Business, Education, Health Sciences, Leadership & Professional Advancement, Liberal Arts, Music, Natural and Environmental Sciences, Nursing, and Pharmacy were among the schools represented by undergraduate students who are committed to their research, studies, and educational excellence. The success of this event could not have been possible without talented undergraduates, generous sponsors, and committed faculty advisors.
