Students Involved in Research
Students engage in research as part of their undergraduate and graduate education under the direct supervision of experienced faculty mentors. Some Duquesne students present their research at national or international meetings and have their work published in peer reviewed journals. This exposure instills in our students an understanding of the importance of academic and scientific research to the world.
Centers and Institutes
Duquesne has 40 research and economic development centers that have been established in our science, liberal arts, health science, education, nursing, pharmacy and business schools
We focus on areas where research is relevant to today’s world. It’s the best way to help economic growth in the region — Alan W. Seadler, Ph.D., Associate Academic V.P. for Research
