Service-learning is a teaching method that differs from volunteerism, internships, or other forms of community outreach. At Duquesne, service-learning activities occur within academic courses. All undergraduates have service-learning as part of at least one course.

The Student Guide to Service-Learning (pictured at left) was written by Duquesne students for Duquesne students. The current version, 2.0, is available as of December 13, 2010.
