Innovation Award

Ideas that Make a Difference

This award is to acknowledge an employee who has developed a solution to a difficult existing problem effectively and productively or improved Duquesne's overall organizational effectiveness through a new method or approach. This employee developed and implemented a plan for the good of the Duquesne community.

Criteria:

  1. Candidate's contribution must be for duties or services that are above or beyond his or her regularly assigned duties.
  2. Candidate's initiative in the development of an actionable idea facilitated proactive change or solved a problem.
  3. Candidate's plan was applied to appropriate processes, systems, and methods at the University.
  4. Candidate provided leadership and good organizational skills to create quality job performance.

Nominations

Employees are encouraged to submit nominations in November and December.

Anyone who has been a full- or part-time staff member at Duquesne University for at least two years is eligible to be nominated.
