American Marketing Association (AMA) members at Duquesne University interact with the Pittsburgh professional chapter on a regular basis to organize seminars featuring successful marketing executives, workshops, career forums, and networking events. The AMA is dedicated to furthering the profession and developing students' careers. 


Delta Sigma Pi
Professional Business Fraternity

Delta Sigma Pi, a national professional business fraternity, is represented by Theta Rho chapter. The fraternity makes substantial contributions to the University community through its many service activities.


Donahue Business Society

The Donahue Business Society (DBS) is the student organization for graduate business students at Duquesne. The DBS serves as a student advocacy group that works with both the students and faculty to improve the student experience of earning a Duquesne MBA, strengthen alumni relations and networking, career placement before and after graduation, and work with local charities to build leadership and character within the business and local communities.


Duquesne Asset Management Group

Duquesne Asset Management Group (DAMG) is a student association dedicated to increase knowledge and provide hands-on experience for business students. The club deals with donated money and invests to benefit both the club and the school. 


Duquesne Association for Information Technology

Duquesne Association for Information Technology (DAIT) is a student association dedicated to promoting knowledge in the information technology field. The organization is open to all Duquesne University students, faculty and staff.

Net Impact is a global network of leaders who are changing the world through business. Net Impact is an international nonprofit organization whose mission is to make a positive impact on society by growing and strengthening a community of new leaders who use business to improve the world. Membership is open to any interested student, regardless of major.

Future Business Leaders Association

FBLA-PBL is the premier student business association. Our mission is to bring business and education together in a positive working relationship through innovative leadership and career development programs. If you are interested in developing leadership, communications, and team skills or simply looking for an organization to meet and network with others at the local, state, or national levels; PBL is the organization for you. 


Project Management Student Association

The Duquesne student chapter of the Project Management Institute (PMI) works directly with the Pittsburgh chapter and attempts to associate Duquesne students with project management professionals within the region. Throughout the semester, the PMI will host speakers at weekly meetings and sponsor social networking events.

Members of the Sports Marketing Association (SMA) coordinate various fundraising events to promote the field of sports marketing to the campus and local community. The SMA strives to get students involved in various activities organized by student and faculty representatives.

Student Accounting Association (SAA) is an organization where business students with similar interests, network with professionals from the Pittsburgh business community. In very relaxed and informal settings, students learn about career opportunities in accounting, as well as other business fields. Membership is open to all School of Business students.
