Asian Students Association

The Asian Students Association (ASA) encourages and supports the diversity of Duquesne University through various social activities such as the Asian Festival, celebration of the Chinese New Year and philanthropic initiatives throughout the Pittsburgh region. The ASA is a social organization open to all students with an interest in Asian culture.


Black Student Union

The Black Student Union (BSU) of Duquesne University was organized with the purpose of focusing on the campus's ethnic composition with the objective to bring about open communication and interaction among all Duquesne students who show an interest in ethnic awareness, and the same time work toward a stable cultural, political, emotional, and social environment for minorities throughout the campus and the community.

Duquesne Asian Culture and Anime Club

The Asian Culture and Anime Club is dedicated to promoting and educating students about Asian culture and anime.


Duquesne Indian Students Association

The Duquesne Indian Students Association (DISHA) was created to provide all students of Indian origin with the opportunity to interact and share the joy, culture and heritage of India.


Ebony Women

To unite all women of color at Duquesne University to create a sense of community and enact social change within the University and surrounding areas.


International Student Organization

The Duquesne University International Students Organization, best known as ISO, is one of the largest student organizations on campus. ISO is responsible for assisting international students academically, socially and spiritually while at Duquesne University. ISO strives to promote international understanding between and among international and American students.


Latin American Student Association

The Latin American Student Association (LASA) is an organization whose primary goal is to cultivate and disseminate the diverse cultural and artistic manifestations of Latin American traditions and life such as dance, music, literature, culinary arts, film, painting, and regional costumes.

LASA strives to promote an understanding of the Latin American culture and roots within the Duquesne community, establish ties with the local Latin American community in Pittsburgh, serve as an avenue for those Duquesne students who wish to practice the Spanish language and create opportunities for international research and programs focused in Latin America.


Muslim Student Association

The Muslim Student Association is dedicated to promoting awareness about Islam and tolerance within the Duquesne community of all faiths and cultures.
