The SON is currently seeking a nurse faculty, for a 9-month, tenure or non-tenure track, assistant or associate professor position as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to begin August 2017. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to teach across multiple levels of the curriculum.The Duquesne University School of Nursing (SON) is a nationally recognized pioneer in nursing education. - Ph.D. or DNP
- Experience and certification as a Psychiatric/Mental Health nurse Practitioner in Advanced Practice
- Successful teaching experience at the university or college level, including online instruction
- Demonstrated commitment to the profession as evidenced in record of professional leadership or public service, and scholarship
- Certification in advanced practice as a Psychiatric NP
