The School of Nursing is a widely recognized pioneer in nursing education, having created Pennsylvania's first B.S.N. program in 1937 and the nation's first online nursing PhD program in 1997. Today, our school is recognized by the National League for Nursing as a Center of Excellence, and our graduate program has been ranked nationally by US News & World Report. Due to unprecedented growth, the School of Nursing (SON) is currently seeking one Full-Time Faculty, for a 9-month, tenure or non-tenure track, assistant or associate professor position starting August 2018. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to teach across multiple levels of the curriculum.
- PhD or DNP will be considered
- Clinical Expertise in Pediatric, Adult Health, Critical Care, Psychiatric/Mental Health, Forensic Nursing
- Tenure Track candidates must present a record of effective teaching and a program or research
- PhD in nursing or related field
- Preference will be given to the candidate with successful teaching experience at the university or college level - to include online instruction
- Demonstrated commitment to the profession as evidenced in record of professional leadership or public service, and scholarship
