Neiser is a veteran commercial and construction trial attorney with Spilman Thomas & Battle, PLLC, where he is a member and co-chair of the construction practice group. His practice mostly involves trial work in federal and state courts and before arbitration panels. His regular case load includes contract disputes, motions for injunctive relief, lawsuits by and between contractors, enforcement of restrictive employment covenants, insurance coverage disputes, and nearly every type of construction matter. He also is a frequent lecturer on electronic discovery and trial tactics.

Prior to joining Spilman, Neiser was a litigation attorney with regional and multinational law firms and served as general counsel to an international construction claims consulting firm. He also was a journalist with the Associated Press and Pittsburgh Business Times and served as a sergeant in the United States Marine Corps. During his time in the Marine Corps, he completed a successful tour as a Drill Instructor at Marine Corps Recruit Depot, Parris Island.

In addition to his practice, Neiser is the Chair of the Allegheny County Bar Association Construction Law Council and is a member of the Local Rules of Civil Procedure committee. He holds a peer rating of AV-Preeminent with Martindale-Hubbell, has been recognized as a SuperLawyer, and has been named to The Best Lawyers in America for construction law.

While in law school at Duquesne, Neiser was named to the Order of Barristers, was the first co-recipient of the John J. Sciullo Peer Excellency Award, and received the International Academy of Trial Lawyers award.
