Title: Reflections on 400 years of inequality Abstract: 2019 will mark the 400th anniversary of the first arrival of Africans in Jamestown, to be sold into bondage. The creation of chattel slavery had many evil consequences, among them the enshrinement of inequality in law, custom and the Constitution. This talk will reflect on the costs of inequality, and the call for the US to prepare for and observe 2019 as the anniversary of Jamestown. For more informaiton visit: 400yearsofinequality.org
