Advantages of a Political Science Degree

Political Science majors may concentrate in Law & Politics and take up to 6 credits of internships at law offices.

Not a political science major? Not a problem. Minor in Law & Politics!

Political Science offers undergraduate courses in constitutional and international law, as well as courses on legal education with Duquesne Law faculty.

Law School Admission

Like all other departments at Duquesne, Political Science offers several programs for students interested in law:

3-3 Early Admissions Program with Duquesne Law School: 3 years of undergraduate political science, earning a B.A., followed by 3 years of law school, earning a J.D. from Duquesne Law School.

4-3 Regular Program with Duquesne Law School and any law school nationwide: 4 years of undergrad political science, earning a B.A., followed by 3 years of law school, earning a J.D.
