Laramey Ramsburg is a chemist and Certified Latent Print Examiner for Mylan Pharmaceuticals, Inc.
“Along with being a fingerprint examiner, I also deal with other biometrics including face, palm, and iris recognition,” explains Laramey. “Duquesne prepared me for this job by giving me a wide range of knowledge within the science field and a well-rounded education from the Honors College.”
Laramey chose Duquesne because it is one of few local schools that offer a forensic science program and has the added benefit of obtaining a Master of Science degree in 5 years instead of 6. She credits the volunteer opportunities and the social activities at Duquesne for helping her to develop leadership and communication skills and teaching her valuable life lessons.
