Binary Engineering Program Curriculum

Students pursuing the Binary Engineering Program must complete 100 credits during their first 3 years at Duquesne, which include:• 15 Basic Physics Sequence credits:

  • 17 Advanced Physics Elective credits
  • 24 Math and Computer Science credits
  • 10 Chemistry credits
  • 13 Bayer School Core credits
  • 28 University Core credits
  • 13 Free Elective credits

and any prerequisite courses for the chosen engineering major, by cross-registration at Pitt.

To graduate, a student must complete the bachelor of science degree in engineering at Case Western Reserve University or the University of Pittsburgh and transfer back 20 credits to complete a bachelor of arts degree at Duquesne.
