SANE-A (Adult/Adolescent) Clinical Preceptor Course
November 6 - 7, 2019
Class size is limited.
Registration Deadline: September 25, 2019
During this class, nurses will experience hands-on preceptorship with experienced SANEs to prepare them to return to their areas of clinical practice. The course includes an opportunity for each nurse enrolled to practice a mock exam on a professional, live standardized patient who has been trained to portray a sexual assault scenario and undergo a full sexual assault exam. Learn more about the standardized patients we work with.
This course serves as the "preceptorship" portion of the national certification offered through IAFN (International Association of Forensic Nurses). All training is consistent with the standards of practice as defined by the IAFN.
