"The Three Sleuths" to Reunite for Celebratory Event
"The Three Sleuths," an interactive educational experience built around many of the world's most fascinating crimes and forensic scientific mysteries, will take place at Duquesne University.
Originally staged in 2012, the event will reunite world-renowned forensic pathologist Dr. Cyril Wecht, famed criminalist Dr. Henry Lee and celebrity attorney Mark Geragos. The three experts will discuss a variety of famous and lesser-known cases, including the John F. Kennedy assassination, the O.J. Simpson investigation, and the deaths of Laci Peterson, Michael Jackson and Caylee Anthony.
Using dramatic multi-media visuals, each expert will present a set of criminal and civil cases and the intriguing facts behind them before engaging in a spirited, often humorous volley of analysis and opinions among longtime colleagues and friends. An audience question-and-answer session will follow the presentations.
A reception featuring beer and wine and an assortment of hors d'oeuvres will precede the performance, which begins at 7 p.m.
The event is hosted by the Cyril H. Wecht Institute of Forensic Science and Law at Duquesne University and the Bayer School of Natural and Environmental Science.
When: Saturday, June 15, 6:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. (An exclusive "Meet-and-Greet" reception directly precedes the main event, beginning at 5 p.m.)
Where: Union Ballroom, Duquesne University, 600 Forbes Avenue, Pittsburgh (The "Meet-and-Greet" reception will take place in the Africa Room.)
