Bishop Zubik to Keynote Downtown Luncheon
The Most Rev. David A. Zubik, D.D., bishop of the Pittsburgh Diocese, will be the keynote speaker at the annual Duquesne University Downtown Luncheon.
A 1971 graduate of Duquesne’s McAnulty College and Graduate School of Liberal Arts, Zubik will share his insights on current issues and remembrances from his formative years on the Bluff.
Zubik, who also earned a master’s degree in education from Duquesne in 1982, served as the Pittsburgh diocesan representative on the University’s board of directors from 1997 to 2003.
A native of Ambridge, Zubik installed as the 12th bishop of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Pittsburgh in 2007.
