CEO of Leadership Pittsburgh to Discuss Authenticity at Beard Institute Event
Aradhna M. Oliphant, president and chief executive officer of Leadership Pittsburgh Inc., will speak on Authenticity in Leadership in the next event of Duquesne University’s Beard Institute Distinguished Ethics Speaker Series.
Oliphant’s free presentation will be on Wednesday, Sept. 10, at 4:30 p.m. in the Pappert Lecture Hall of the Bayer Learning Center on the Duquesne campus.
“Oliphant has been a strong community leader and role model for many young, aspiring professionals in the region for many years,” said Dr. Jim Weber, executive director of the Beard Institute. “This is her second visit to Duquesne as the Distinguished Ethics Speaker Series.”
The series is part of the Beard Institute’s mission to support ethics education in the Palumbo-Donahue School of Business. In its 25th year, the series brings together students, faculty and invited guests from the regional business community to explore a variety of ethical and community issues, encouraging an in-depth reflection on problems of human values in contemporary society.
