Duquesne's Fall Open House Expected to Attract Thousands
Duquesne University is expecting an estimated 2,300 campus visitors to attend its 2013 Fall Open House.
This annual recruitment event, scheduled for Sunday, Sept. 15, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., gives high school students and their families a chance to explore campus and learn about the majors, living arrangements and recreational opportunities at Duquesne.
A complimentary breakfast starts the day, followed by a walking tour of campus and the opportunity to meet representatives from Duquesne's 10 schools of study. The Fall Open House schedule also includes formal presentations about academics, financial aid and careers.
Staffed display tables along Academic Walk, each devoted to an organization, major or activity, provide visitors with details about living and learning at Duquesne as well the opportunity to interact with faculty, staff and current students.
Fall Open House is free, but registration is required. Visit the Fall Open House web page, or call 412.396.6197 for more information.
