Twice as Fun: Enjoy Oldies and Benefit United Way

A Johnny Angel concert hosted by Duquesne University, Swingin' with an Angel, will benefit the United Way.

Duquesne's own Debbie Zugates, director of undergraduate admissions, will join Angel on stage for vocals. They will be accompanied by Swingtet8, a big-band era group featuring five horns and a three-piece rhythm section.

Concertgoers can enjoy pre-show fun, discounted appetizers and specially priced drinks at the Red Ring's Monday Happy Hour.

When: Monday, Oct. 26, with happy hour starting at 4:30 p.m. and the concert at 7:30 p.m.
Where: Duquesne's Power Center Ballroom for the concert; Red Ring Bar & Grille, 1015 Forbes Ave., Uptown, for pre-show

Tickets: $10 in advance online, www.duq.edu/united-way, or in Room 305 of the Duquesne Union; $15 at the door
