‘U.S. News’ Ranks DU Nursing Among Top 10 Best Online Programs for Third Consecutive Year
The Duquesne University School of Nursing has been ranked among the Top 10 Best Online Graduate Nursing Programs in the nation for a third consecutive year by U.S. News and World Report. The school is ranked at No. 9 out of the 133 schools offering online nursing master's degree programs that were surveyed as part of the U.S. News 2015 Best Online Programs ranking.
In addition, Duquesne was ranked No. 90 out of 296 schools in the Best Online Bachelor's Degree Programs category. This marks a continued ascent for the University, which was ranked at No. 93 in 2014 and at No. 125 in 2013 for this category. The School of Education made its debut in the Best Online Graduate Education Programs category at No. 179 out of 252 schools surveyed.
For the Best Online Graduate Nursing Programs rankings, U.S. News considered student engagement, faculty credentials and training, peer reputation, student services and technology, and admissions selectivity as the factors for its methodology.

U.S. News considered student engagement, faculty credentials and training, peer reputation, and student services and technology as factors for the Best Online Bachelor's Degree Programs. According to U.S. News, more than 1,200 online degree programs in total were assessed for the 2015 Best Online Programs rankings, up more than 20 percent from last year.
