Violence and the Cultural Order Discussed at DU Conference
Fourth Annual Conference on Conflict Resolution, Peace Studies, and Policy Analysis
The Graduate Center for Social and Public Policy at Duquesne University will host the fourth annual Conference on Conflict Resolution, Peace Studies, and Policy Analysis. Graduate students from Duquesne and across the country will present scholarly papers on the theme of Domestic and International Violence: Implications for Policymakers, starting at 10 a.m.
The keynote address, Violence and the Cultural Order, will be delivered by Dr. Neil Whitehead, professor of anthropology at the University of Wisconsin, Madison. A question-and-answer session will follow the address, with a reception afterward in College Hall.
