At Duquesne, volunteerism is more than a time-honored tradition. It's a shared commitment by students, faculty and staff. Each year we volunteer more than 248,000 hours of time and talent, also donating financial resources and material goods with the goal of making a positive difference in the lives of others.
The Duquesne University Volunteers (DUV) is the umbrella volunteer movement that encompasses all volunteer activities at Duquesne. The acronym is a fitting tribute to our Spiritan heritage, with "the Spirit who gives life" continuing to influence and guide those who answer the University's call for service to the Church, the community, the nation and the world.
With a number of on-campus volunteer events and fundraisers, as well as a wealth of off-campus service sites and projects, you're sure to find an opportunity that meets your interests. Learn more about volunteer opportunities through CampusLink!
