Research Project

"Characterization of development-associated chromosome segregation, and the genome content and arrangement in Streptomyces spores ."

The goals of this project are to investigate the development-associated chromosome segregation mechanism of the filamentous bacteria of the genus Streptomyces using molecular and genetic techniques to better understand cell biology, ploidy and the nucleoid architecture within the spore.
