Andrea Stevens and Anna Polaski received 2018 Young Investigators Awards to travel and present at the American Pain Society annual meeting in Anaheim California. 

Neil Lax  was awarded the 2017 Graduate Student Award for Excellence in Teaching!

Congrats to Charlotte Hacker who has been awarded a prestigious National Science Foundation East Asia and Pacific Summer Institute Award. The award will fund Charlotte's field research in China to collect snow leopard samples for DNA sequencing analysis.

Brian Trevalline and Sara McClelland won BSNES poster awards at the 2017 Duquesne Graduate Student Research Symposium!

Katelyn Sadler was awarded the Duquesne University 2017 Distinguished Dissertation Award in the area of physical and biological sciences.

Katelyn Sadler was awarded a prestigious National Research Service Award (NRSA F31) from the National Institutes of Health.  The NRSA funded Kate as a research assistant for three years. Kate is currently a post-doctoral research associate at the Medical College of Wisconsin where she is funded with a NIH NRSA F32.
