Environmental Entrepreneurs (E2) and Duquesne University's Center for Green Industries are sponsoring the Pennsylvania Clean Jobs Forum. We are excited to highlight theClean Jobs PA report by E2 and Keystone Energy Efficiency Alliance detailing information about the 66,000 clean energy jobs in Pennsylvania (that's about 1 percent of total state employment - and more jobs from sectors such as mining and quarrying, oil and gas extraction, agriculture and real estate!), and we'll unveil the Clean Jobs PA Mapping Project that illustrates where renewable energy generation sites and clean energy businesses are located throughout the state.
Also at the forum: Hear from leading experts about current clean energy policy and from award-winning businesses that are leading the way in creating jobs in the clean energy economy. Speakers include leaders from E2, Duquesne University Center for Green Industries, Berner Industries, EverPower Wind, eCap Network, Aquion Energy, Keystone Energy Efficiency Association, Natural Resources Defense Council, organized labor, state officials, and more.
Portions of this forum are participatory. Attendees will contribute information about policy ideas that grow clean energy businesses and jobs and also have a chance to showcase your company/organization in 30-second "elevator" speeches during lightning round introductions that precede the networking reception.
Final agenda and additional information will be posted on the event registration page (and emailed to registrants). We thank our co-sponsors: Keystone Energy Efficiency Alliance, Green Building Alliance, Blue Green Alliance, Conservation Consultants, Inc., and Sustainable Pittsburgh. We appreciate your help in spreading the word.
