In the Spiritan tradition, Duquesne University's Office of International Programs' mission is to:

Promote the global awareness and understanding central to a broad, well-balanced and fully integrated education;

Welcome students and faculty from throughout the world, and;

Encourage Duquesne University's students and faculty to take advantage of opportunities to study and teach abroad.
How we serve students:
Study Abroad
Manage the Italian Campus program and the International Study Center in Galway, Ireland especially for Duquesne students
Forge agreements with various third-party study abroad program providers to give students access to program throughout the world
Develop short-term programs in conjunction with faculty for Duquesne students
Conduct information sessions throughout the year to inform students about the possibility of studying abroad
Offer extensive individual advisement to help students identify and choose the right study abroad program for them
International Admissions & Student Services
Assist students who are interested in attending Duquesne for either undergraduate or graduate programs
Travel the world to meet with students and families about attending Duquesne and living in Pittsburgh
Work closely with overseas college counselors to ensure that Duquesne can be the right "fit" for a student
Assist international applicants and current students with the U.S. visa process and offers ongoing advisement
Plan cultural events and activities that allow students to settle into their new environment well
