Two Programs for Pre-Medical Studies

The Post-Baccalaureate Pre-Medical Program is designed for individuals who have completed a bachelor's degree and are interested in pursuing a career in medicine, dentistry, veterinary medicine, podiatry, chiropractic or optometry.

Our program emphasizes a humanistic approach and scientific excellence in the preparation, education and training of students.

Undergraduates

Undergraduates can enter Pre-Medical Professions, a university-wide program for those seeking a career in medicine, veterinary medicine, dentistry, optometry, podiatry or chiropractic medicine. 

High school students considering Duquesne for a bachelor’s degree should review the Pre-Medical Professions Program.
