Life Time Achievement Award winner of the American Music Therapy Association (AMTA). She has served as member of the AMTA Executive Advisory Board, the National Affiliate Relations Committee and the Judicial Review Board. Currently, she serves as the Archivist for the Mid-Atlantic Music Therapy Region (MAR).
Donna Marie was also named Professional of the Year in Music Education sponsored by Cambridge Who's Who. She is a frequent presenter of music therapy and spirituality lectures both nationally and internationally. Most recently, she presented at the International Encounters in Music Therapy Conference: Centro Converge Concordia' in Tourin, Italy. She also presented at the Fifth European Music Therapy Conference in Naples Italy. The International MU PHI Epsilon Conference recently featured her as a guest speaker.
Her published research includes several articles published in the Association of Music and Imagery's Journal including "Listening with Open Ears ", the "GIM Guide As A Spiritual Director" and more recently "Recapturing A Vision To Become Fully Human" The Bonny Method as a Servant Source in Discovering the Authentic Self."
Donna Marie's most recent accolade was her induction into the Century Club of Distinguished Duquesne University Alumni.
