Edward Valentine, A. M. Professional Consultant, Skilled Manager. Adjunct Instructor of Leadership Edward Valentine has more than twenty years experience developing managers and staff leaders in the healthcare, higher education, telecommunications sectors and with not-for-profit organizations. As a manager, he envisioned and implemented process improvements to improve service and profit within a major private hospital, established a multi-national delivery system for management training for a mid-sized telecommunications company, and served as liaison between project and unit leadership supporting an ERP implementation in one of the nation's largest university systems. In every work situation, his goals have been to develop customer-focused processes, and to build outstanding and adaptable staff who can themselves lead. He has taught the course Leading Technical Change for the School of Leadership and Professional Development for 4 years. As a private consultant, he coaches senior managers and executives, especially in the areas of strategic leadership, team development and performance management.
