Ryan is an Associate Professor of Marketing at Duquesne. He teaches several courses including Strategic Marketing and Business to Business Marketing in both the M.B.A. and undergraduate programs. Ryan also serves as the Director of Accreditation for the school and is responsible for leading the AACSB accreditation process.
Ryan's research focuses on two broad areas: retailing issues in marketing and the impact of marketing strategy on firm performance. His work has been published in several journals including Management Science, Journal of Retailing and the Journal of Business & Industrial Marketing.
Dr. Luchs joined Duquesne in 2008 after receiving a Ph.D. and an M.B.A. from the University of Pittsburgh and a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Penn State University. He spent five years in the specialty chemical industry as a quality assurance manager prior to entering academia.
