  • Attend a Division I Women's Basketball game

    Bus drop-off and pick-up is on-campus, on Bluff Street near Rooney Field.

    Schedule and Activities
    9:00-9:30 a.m. Schools arrive on campus (at Rooney Field)
    9:30-10:30 a.m. Campus Tour - Learn about what it's like to be a college student!
    10:30-11:00 a.m. Head to A.J. Palumbo Center 
    11:00 a.m. Tip Off - Duquesne Dukes vs. Kent State Flash

    Poster Competition -  Encourage your students to create a poster for the Duquesne Women's Basketball team and bring it to the game. The student with the winning poster will receive a Duquesne Duke prize pack!

    Most School Spirit Contest  - Each class is encouraged to come with the most school spirit for Duquesne. The winning class will get their picture taken after the game!

    Post-Game Autograph Session -  Stick around and get autographs from members of the women's basketball team.

    Chance for students to participate in the High-5 Tunnel!


    Tickets to the game are FREE!

    Students may bring a bagged lunch or choose our boxed lunch option (peanut butter and jelly sandwich, apple, pretzels and water) for $5. *Please note when registering if there is a peanut allergy for an alternative sandwich.

    I'm First: An online community celebrating first-generation college students and supporting those who will be.

    First Generation Film
    Shot over the course of three years and featuring some of our nation's top educational experts (Richard Kahlenberg, The Century Foundation; J.B. Schramm, College Summit; Dr. Bill Tierney, University of Southern California), this 95 minute documentary explores the problem of college access faced by first generation and low-income students and how their success has major implications for the future of our nation.
