The tuition and fee scholarship represents our commitment to ensuring that the best-prepared teachers are available for the classrooms of the future. It’s our way of responding to a variety of adverse factors in the current market.
Who is eligible?
Academically talented and motivated students enrolled as a first-time, full-time freshmen in our School of Education for the Fall 2013 semester.
These scholarships are renewable for four years of undergraduate study as long as the student remains enrolled full-time in the School of Education.
What are the details of the scholarship?
The 50% Tuition and Fee Scholarship cannot be combined with any other forms of institutional financial aid or discounts.
Recipients may qualify for other federal and state based financial aid programs.
The scholarship will keep pace with annual tuition and fee increases.
Why this scholarship initiative?
These scholarships are a response to declining enrollments within schools of education nationally due to cutbacks in funding to school districts.
