Career Services
The Career Services Office (CSO) is committed to serving both the institution and the legal profession, by helping currently enrolled students supplement their formal education with practical experience in legally related positions, by assisting graduating law students and alumni in securing employment in their chosen areas of practice, and by helping employers to engage the services of individuals prepared to assume professional positions.
Services provided by the CSO for students and alumni include:
*Individual caeer counseling (beginning October 15 for 1L students (as of Fall 2013)).
*Resume and cover letter reviews.
*Career guides and publications via the CSO Resource Center.
*DuqLawConnect, an on-line employment portal for viewing job postings, posting resumes to the virtual resume bank, registering for events/programs, and signing up for the on-campus recruitment program.
*Fall & Spring On-Campus Recruitment Programs.
*National and regional job fairs.
*Reciprocity services that provide students and alumni seeking employment outside of Pittsburgh access to other school's career services offices.
