2013 Forensic Science and Law Summer Workshop
The professional Forensic Science and Law fraternity Phi Sigma Lambda will host the Tenth
Annual Forensic Science and Law Workshop at Duquesne University July 15-18, 2013.
Students and faculty of the Bayer School Forensic Science and Law program, in participation with the Wecht Institute of Forensic Science and Law, will offer the four-day workshop. High school students from Pittsburgh and the surrounding area are invited to participate.

Who May Apply
Applicants must be high school juniors or seniors as of Fall 2013 and have a strong interest in the sciences. Consideration will be given to exceptional sophomore students. Applicants also must have at least a 2.5 GPA.

All application forms are reviewed on a first-come basis; those received by May 3, 2013 will take priority. All applications must be postmarked by the final deadline of May 31, 2013. However, acceptance to the workshop will be granted on a rolling basis, so please apply early. Please mail applications to:

Students who are selected to participate in the Forensic Science and Law Workshop will be notified prior to June 15, 2013. A detailed schedule and additional information about the Forensic Science and Law Workshop will be mailed with the acceptance letter. Phi Sigma Lambda requests a $50 deposit fee (or payment in full) at the time of acceptance, and any remaining balance must be paid at registration on July 15. Housing is available for out-of-town students at an additional cost. Also, for those staying on campus or anyone who would like to participate in evening activities there will be additional costs for dinners and activities.
