Pharmacy Career Fair
Duquesne University Mylan School of Pharmacy hosted a Pharmacy Career Fair sponsored by University Career Services on August 29. The event took place during the first week of classes, kicking off the Fall 2013 semester in Duquesne's Power Center Ballroom. The fair was geared towards students who are entering the professional phase of pharmacy school, particularly the second, third and fourth year students. The 207 student pharmacists in attendance were encouraged to practice their interviewing and network skills, as well as learn about career opportunities with the 15 various pharmacy-related employers that were present.
Career fairs are designed to provide job seekers a way to explore career opportunities within a variety of companies in one location.
