Combining a great education at a great price, special financial opportunities are available for many graduate programs.

25% Tuition Award

McNair Scholar Alumni Award
Part of our fabric is a strong commitment to a diverse community of scholars and professionals. We recognize McNair Scholars' potential for success in pursuing a graduate education at Duquesne and the unique perspectives and insight they bring to our community.
Therefore, we are delighted to announce our McNair Scholar Alumni Award. Beginning in Fall 2017, McNair Scholar alumni will be eligible to receive a one-time $5,000 tuition award. This award will be applied during the first year of study provded the scholar is enrolled in a degree seeking graduate program. The McNair Scholar Alumni Award can be combined with any additional scholarships or awards that scholars may receive from their program of interest.

School of Nursing Tuition Awards
Within the School of Nursing there exists a 30% tuition discount and a 50% tuition discount for eligible students enrolling in specified graduate nursing programs at Duquesne University.
Roman Catholic Diocese of Pittsburgh 60% Tuition Award
Current full-time lay teachers or high school administrators required to obtain Administrative I Certification within the Pittsburgh Diocese with two or more years of service may be eligible to receive a 60% award of basic tuition rate of school or rate of school enrollment, whichever is lower. Lay teachers with less than 2 years of service with an email or letter of affirmation from their principal can be eligible for the discount upon review and approval by the Duquesne University Financial Aid office.
