The latest Forbes America’s Top Colleges list ranks Duquesne among the best schools in the country and in the top half of the nation’s research institutions. Washington Monthly magazine lists Duquesne as No. 11 nationwide in providing social mobility to low-income students and among the top 100 universities overall.

Princeton Review Ranks Duquesne Among Nation’s Top Colleges

College Fair: Sunday, Oct. 9

The 45th Annual College Fair will be held from 1-3 p.m. in the A.J. Palumbo Center.  High school juniors and seniors can meet with representatives from more than 150 colleges and universities.  Financial aid representatives will be available to answer questions.

New Library Hours for Fall 2011

The Gumberg Library is open Mondays thru Thursdays from 7 a.m.-1 a.m., with card swipe access required after 9 p.m. Friday and Saturday hours are 10 a.m.-6 p.m.; Sunday 11 a.m.-1 a.m.

A total of seven home games, plus a neutral-site game vs. Pitt at CONSOL Energy Center, highlight the 14-game non-conference portion of the 2011-12 schedule.

USA Women Claim Gold at World University Games

The Americans, for whom Duquesne’s Suzie McConnell-Serio was an assistant coach, defeated Taiwan to emerge from the tournament in China with a perfect 6-0 record.

Men’s Soccer Players Earn Pre-Season Honors

Simon Gomez was named to the 2010 A-10 Men's Soccer Pre-Season All-Conference Team and freshmen Johnny Contreras and Filip Velasevic were named to the All-Rookie Team.

Volleyball Finishes Duquesne Invitational 4-0

Victories over Howard and Eastern Kentucky award the team a perfect opening weekend.
