SLPA Launches New Breakfast Series
Beginning June 7, the monthly Leadership Breakfast Series will examine the leader’s role in fostering work that is excellent, ethical, engaging and empathetic. SLPA also hosts campus-based and online information sessions for adults seeking to complete their bachelor’s or master’s degrees.
Centuries of June Book Signing: Thursday, June 23
Carnegie Library Main will host Duquesne alumnus Keith Donohue for a reading and signing of his newest book. Event is free with registration.

Student-Athletes Excel in the Classroom
Fourteen of 16 Duquesne varsity teams exceeded national averages in their sports in the latest NCAA Academic Progress Rate (APR) report, with football posting the greatest academic improvement among NEC schools. Sixty-seven percent of varsity athletes earned averages of 3.0 or higher this spring.

Five members of the 2007-08 men’s basketball team are excelling professionally overseas.

Former Duquesne soccer players Ben Horner and Stefan Lundberg will play for the Pittsburgh Riverhounds of the United Soccer League.

Men’s Soccer Announces 2011 Newcomers
Jake Ouimet's class boasts a U18 Canadian National Team member, two NSCAA Regional All-Americans and three All-State players.
Women's Soccer Releases 2011 Schedule
The Dukes will play 18-game regular season schedule beginning on August 19.
