Power Center Ballroom

Located on the top level of the Power Center, the ballroom features expansive, customizable event space for various sizes and types of functions.  The silver certified LEED space features a spectacular view of downtown from floor to ceiling windows and two outdoor decks. The ballroom is available to Alumni and Duquesne affiliated partners.

The ballroom can be configured to accommodate large scale banquets of 350 and lectures of 800, to mid-sized gatherings, wedding receptions or intimate cocktail receptions.

The Fides Shepperson Suite is conveniently located adjacent to the ballroom and is ideal for pre-dinner receptions or other event needs

Guest parking is available in the Forbes Parking Garage at the affiliated guest rate. Contact your Event Coordinator to coordinate parking details for your event.

Alternate Parking

Though every effort is made to accommodate parking for your event, spots cannot be guaranteed during peak garage hours (from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday during the academic year).

Find Us

Coordinate all deliveries with Events Coordinator. Deliveries should be made via Watson Street Alley, located behind the Power Center, between Forbes and Fifth Avenues.

Directions to the Ballroom:

Via Forbes Parking Garage

Park in the Forbes Garage and go to level 8. Exit the garage and cross the Sklar Skywalk to the Ballroom lobby. Enter the Ballroom through the Fides Shepperson Suite.

Via Forbes Avenue

Enter the Power Center on Forbes Avenue (between Barnes and Noble and Jamba Juice). Take the elevator to Level 5. Go straight off of the elevators to enter through the Fides Shepperson Suite.
