Spiritan Campus Ministry is much more than a group of individuals or an agenda of programs or opportunities for service. It is the Spirit of Duquesne University…the Spirit that moves, that leads, that guides.
SCM serves all students, faculty and staff—whatever their faith—helping them understand and engage the University mission and Spiritan tradition so they can share it with each other, their communities and the world beyond.

Founder's Week is here!

Duquesne University remembers our founders, the Congregation of the Holy Spirit, with a week-long series of events in celebration of our Spiritan heritage. All members of the University community are invited to join all events as their schedule permits. Every event is free, but an RSVP is required. Prayer to the Holy Spirit

Breathe in me, Holy Spirit, that my thoughts may reflect you. Act in me, Holy Spirit, that my life may further God's Reign. Fill my heart, Holy Spirit, that I may love with great kindness. Strengthen me, Holy Spirit, that I may defend the poor and needy. Embolden me, Holy Spirit, that my life may be a witness to the Gospel. Preserve me, Holy Spirit, that I may always remain your dwelling place.

The Pope's 2010 World Peace Day Message

The quest for peace by people of good will surely would become easier if all acknowledge the indivisible relationship between God, human beings and the whole of creation. In the light of divine Revelation and in fidelity to the Church's Tradition, Christians have their own contribution to make.
