Why should a prospective student choose Duquesne University?

I know from experience that a lot of universities “talk” mission … here, we live it.

What drew you to teach at Duquesne University?

An acknowledgement that in order to develop teachers who care about students, you must care about students when they are taking Education classes.

Research Interests

Teacher leadership within the context of larger efforts to change schools.

Current Projects

A study of “hybrid” teacher leaders – teachers whose official schedule includes teaching K-12 students and leading teachers in some capacity.
