Science Education Program Receives National Recognition

The National Council for the Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE) has received notification from the National Science Teachers Association (NSTA) review and has distinguished the Science Education Program of Duquesne University’s School of Education with national recognition for two years (through August 2013). Congratulations to the Science Education Program; Dr. Karen Levitt, Director of the Leading Teacher Program, for her leadership; and Dr. Alexandra Santau for her contributions in developing the Science Education report and achieving this national recognition of excellence.
