Here's To Your Health
Since good health is essential for work and study, students can receive medical, mental health and wellness services through Duquesne's own Health Service. Open weekdays, by appointment, the Health Service offers:
- Physician and nursing care and routine physical exams
- Laboratory testing and allergy injections
- Emergency care
- Referrals
- Nutrition counseling and health education
Find us on the second floor, Duquesne Union. Please call 412.396.1650 for an appointment for all services except emergencies. Walk-ins are seen at the first opening in the schedule.
Health Forms for New Students
New students must submit Immunization and Health History forms to Health Service before starting classes.
Student Health Insurance information is coordinated by the Department of Risk Management. Contact them to submit proof of health insurance coverage.
After-Hours Care
For after-hours care, resident students should call the front desk of their Living Learning Center for assistance, or call 412.692.5325, identify yourself as a Duquesne student, and ask for the Adolescent Medicine physician on call.
