What We Do
Office of International Programs assists:
International Students
- Assists sstudents who are interested in attending Duquesne for either undergraduate or graduate programs
- Travels the world to meet with students and families about attending Duquesne and living in Pittsburgh
- Works closely with overseas college counselors to ensure that Duquesne can be the right "fit" for a student
- Assists international applicants and current students with the U.S. visa process and offers ongoing advisement
- Plans cultural events and activities that allow students to settle into their new environment well
Study Abroad
- Manages the Italian Campus program and the International Study Center in Galway, Ireland especially for Duquesne students
- Forges agreements with various third-party study abroad program providers to give students access to program throughout the world
- Develop short-term programs in conjunction with faculty for Duquesne students
- Conducts information sessions throughout the year to inform students about the possibility of studying abroad
- Offers extensive individual advisement to help students identify and choose the right study abroad program for them
