Course Guide - Constitutional Law
Course Description
The course introduces the student to the basic concepts of Federal Constitutional Law. Emphasis is placed upon both structural constitutional law; that is, the law that constitutes the government, and protection of individual rights and liberties, including the examination of due process, equal protection and the First Amendment. Where pertinent, portions of the Constitution of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and its interpretation by the Pennsylvania courts are also discussed. (5 credits) Required Course
