Duquesne University's School of Leadership and Professional Advancement combines the more than 125 years of academic excellence for which Duquesne is renowned with the convenient course formats needed by working adults.  Opportunities include degree programs, certificates and customized training programs.  

The School of Leadership and Professional Advancement works with employers in a number of capacities:

We offer deferred payment options for students whose employer tuition reimbursement plans necessitate deferred billing.

We can offer academic programs onsite at your facility.  Our current partner organizations for onsite programs include the PA Army National Guard in Fort Indiantown Gap and the Milton Hershey School.

Our students represent a wide array of occupations and are employed by a number of different corporate, government and nonprofit organizations.  Through our Center for Leadership Development, we support ongoing efforts to fulfill the mission of the organization, including offering customized professional development programs onsite.

Some of the other services we provide to employers include:

• Return to Learn- a presentation for employees who are considering a bachelor's or master's degree.
• Education Fairs - we can participate in/host an education fair with other colleges and universities for your employees.
• Boards-By-Design - your employees can apply to participate on nonprofit boards of directors.
