Part-time Clinical Nursing Faculty
Duquesne University School of Nursing is currently seeking qualified part-time clinical faculty to teach in its undergraduate and graduate programs. All candidates must hold a minimum of an RN license, a MSN, and relevant clinical experience. Previous teaching experience preferred.
Undergraduate: Clinical faculty are needed to teach in the areas of medical-surgical, chronic illness/rehabilitation and community nursing. Responsibilities include lab simulation, coordinating clinical assignments, direct supervision, and participation in scheduled faculty meetings. These are weekday, daylight positions working with sophomore, junior and senior level nursing students, and in the Second Degree BSN Program.
Graduate: The FNP Program faculty position requires online instruction as well as on-site concentrated work in teaching physical assessment. Successful candidates will be a CRNP with national certification as an FNP, and have 2 years of relevant clinical experience.
