School of Nursing Hall of Fame

The Duquesne University Nursing Hall of Fame is established to recognize the outstanding achievements of graduates and to honor those individuals who have made a significant contribution to nursing.

The Hall of Fame is governed by the Duquesne University Hall of Fame Board comprised of members of the Duquesne University Nursing Alumni Association Board and Duquesne University School of Nursing faculty. This body establishes the criteria for selecting inductees as well as for election into the Hall of Fame.

Criteria for selection:

  • Graduate of a Duquesne University School of Nursing program: BSN, MSN, DNP, PhD.
  • Individual achievements in one or more major domains of the profession:  practice, education, research. Achievements should have greatly benefited and/or enhanced the nursing profession and/or the health care community.
  • Service to the community, society, and the University.
  • Life experiences and contributions that reflect the mission of Duquesne University.
