Russ Walsh is the current Director of Clinical Training and former chairperson of the Psychology Department. He received a B.A. from Long Island University, and an M.S. in Experimental Psychology and Ph.D. in clinical psychology from the University of New Mexico. His scholarly interests include research epistemology and methodology, reflexivity, and the role of values in psychotherapy and research.

Dr. Walsh is a licensed clinical psychologist with a humanistic-existential orientation. He teaches, supervises, and practices individual psychotherapy with adolescents and adults, as well as counseling with couples and families. He also serves as psychologist on the Pennsylvania Board of Pardons.
