Join the Conversation

In our Department of Theology, the conversation between faith and culture becomes intellectually alive as students and teachers engage scripture, tradition, experience, and contemporary thought in search of understanding.

Students from various faith backgrounds and from many parts of the world come here to study Theology. They benefit from the riches of Catholic theology and rigorous critical inquiry in a setting where we understand that religious questions are real and important, both for you and for the world.

Programs of Study

The Department of Theology offers undergraduate, master's and doctoral programs in Theology, as well as master's programs in pastoral ministry and religious education.

Undergraduate students in Core Theology get a taste of the search for understanding and its methods. We invite students who want "to go deeper" to explore a Major or a Minor in Theology.

At the graduate level, our master's and doctoral programs help to form religious educators, pastoral ministers, teachers, and writers. We invite you to contact the Department of Theology for more information about these programs, and to submit an online application.

Our Faculty

The Theology faculty is diverse and dynamic. We invite you to learn more about our faculty members and their research interests, teaching, and service.
